Running, Creating, & Growing into Spring & Sunshine!

I don't know about you, but I'm Lov'n that it's March.  Even if it's still really cold, snowy, and yucky outside... there is a piece about March which provides so much freshness, hope, and love.  (maybe it also happens to be my birthday month, but I'd like to think it's so much more. :)

As I write, my body is aching!  What a great pain though.... I haven't trained for a race in such a looooong time, for many reasons or excuses, and not that I'm about to sign up for just anything quite yet, but I am back on the training wheel, to boost up mileage from its current 6mile max.  This time of year always seems to bring a little extra motivation and strength in it.  Do you have any goals or ambitions for this coming year?  Go for it... and let me know if you need help with a plan! I LOVE to create a system that would work for you!

Creating, create, CreAtinG!  It's been an amazing time devoted to finishing projects, like the book I illustrated for Ethan Dolby. - I will keep you in the loop for when it's published. -  I've also been working on a commissioned LARGE painting which is drying as we speak.... and then the big SCBWI conference coming in a month.  Lots to do with the portfolio, extra class work, networking cards, etc etc.  Finally, I am finishing up the roughs for my new book I wrote/illustrated and will get that out to the publishers this summer.  Hope someone snatches it up!!

All the while, my heart keeps growing!  Spring is a constant reminder that no matter how dry or dark the winter is... no matter what life brings your way, new life does come.  I've seen so much growth in my heart... every year... as I embrace the dark and cold moments of life, the joy of new life comes once again.  Amazing how even the simple things like coloring my toenails or smelling the cherry blossoms, or adding a little extra cream in my french press coffee... makes me smile!!

Through the sparkling chandeliers or by the everyday candlestick... may you continue to let your light of love and beauty shine on others.

with love,

priscilla
