What materials do you use?
The original art is created with ink & watercolor. After sketching the image with pencil, I'll trace over the lines with Raw Sienna acrylic ink using a dip pen. For watercolor, I love the Schmincke set (I only have 12 colors but want to get some more :) ... and also Derwent Watercolor pencils -set of 36. The work is created on Bristol Paper, smooth surface.
Where do you get your inspiration?
Most of my inspiration comes from my childhood. I grew up on a farm in South Dakota & could spend ALL day in the great outdoors... playing in the trees, staring at the sky/cloud formations, & digging in the garbage for "old" treasures to create into something for my tree forts. It was awesome!!
I'm also struck by the Beauty of God ALL around us & in us... & strive to poor out the love of Christ... into my work.
favorite products to use?
I love using vellum or tracing paper. Many times, I'm sketching on it so I can take pieces of the many different sketches to create the perfect design. I also love to use a blue pencil for sketching... then going on top of that with graphite.

How are the Prints sent to me?
PDF Files in 5x7 or 8x10 will be emailed to you! Please keep that email for the future use of the work.
What if I didn't receive the file?

Do you use archival ink/prints?
All ink and paper are archival... meaning they will last for a long time... creating lasting memories for the years to come. I use Epson Archival ink & the paper is from Moab (Entrada Rag Bright 190).
What printer/camera do you use?
Epson Stylus Photo R2000 ... Camera is a mirrorless Sony 6000 (which I love).
Can I request a custom size print?
Most images are sold in 5x7 and 8x10 (permitting the file size is big enough for good quality). If you would like a custom size, please contact me & I'd be happy to help if I can. NOTE: There will be a small fee to create the custom print.

May I add a personal note/gift wrap?
If you are purchasing the art as a gift for someone else, I would LOVE to help create a beautiful package for your recipient. Please contact me if you'd like the art gift wrapped or to add a personal note. NOTE: A small fee will be added for the extra packaging.
