The summer art festivals begin for me with the International Art Festival at the Peace Arch Park in Blaine, WA.  It will be a 3 day festival full of artists, music, and food.  Hope you will have a chance to get out of town and explore a little bit of Washington.. journey on up past Skagit Valley to Blaine… stopping at some of my favorite spots (a little out of the way but worth it) like La Conner, Skagit Valley countryside, and Anacortes.  

Make a hotel reservation at Semiahmoo Luxury Golf Resort and Spa which reopened last year… featuring great views of the Puget Sound,  and only a little drive to the show.
